As a Security Engineer, you’ll play a key role in safeguarding enterprise systems, networks, and data across the organization. Working closely with teams in IT, Engineering, and the business, you’ll help implement and support security frameworks, architecture, and technologies that align with corporate strategy and evolving threat landscapes.

Your Role in the Spotlight:

  • Identify security design gaps in current and proposed IT architectures and escalate issues when needed.
  • Analyze and communicate both current and emerging security threats across systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess risks related to business operations, IT projects, and information security programs.
  • Assist in designing security architecture elements that mitigate risk and support secure enterprise growth.
  • Contribute to the build and deployment of enterprise-class security systems in production environments.
  • Recommend and support improvements to security practices and solutions that align business needs with cybersecurity requirements.
  • Stay up to date with security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices.
  • Promote security awareness and champion IT security practices across departments.
  • Build trust-based relationships with colleagues to foster a culture of security without disrupting productivity.
  • Support governance and risk management initiatives, contributing to compliance efforts and policy development.
  • Provide Level 3 support and troubleshooting for complex security-related issues.
  • Participate in projects with minimal oversight, demonstrating basic project management capabilities.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in IT Security or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of key security frameworks such as NIST and ISO/IEC 27001 & 27002.
  • Familiarity with major regulatory standards including GDPR, FISMA, PCI, and SOX.
  • Exposure to Industrial IoT network protocols and security standards.
  • Understanding of modern security technologies such as SIEM, XDR, SOAR, Zero Trust, SSPM, DLP/CASB, and network security tools.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Comfortable with a 4+1 hybrid office with Fridays at home.
